Sandwiched between Ghats and sea, Kerala, “The God’s own country” has numerous rivers which flow from the ghats down to the plain lands.
It is only natural that people, out of necessity, decided to preserve them with the help of big mountains and an artificial big boundary called dams. Perched between the beautiful green clad mountains, dam sites has become a popular tourist destination, even though many of them don’t permit tourists to go near them for security concerns. Still a visit to one of these dam sites is truly enriching !!!
